What is Hemp & CBD?Looks like pot, smells like pot, tastes like pot...but it's not. Welcome to the world of Hemp & CBD. CBD (canna-bi-diol) can be derived from hemp or marijuana plants, however HEMP has a far greater CBD% than their counter-part and thanks to the USDA Farm Bill is 100% LEGAL in all States. For some people, the differences between the two can be confusing. In short, hemp plants will always contain more cannabidiol (CBD), while marijuana plants contain more tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The word “cannabis” is often thrown around however, in the Hemp world it is the "flowers" that provide the life-giving wellness benefits as opposed to the marijuana side where it is referred to as "buds". However, “marijuana” is still legally defined as cannabis that contains more than 0.3 percent THC content by dry weight, while “hemp” refers to cannabis with less than 0.3% THC, so for the sake of clarity, we will use the words “marijuana” and “hemp.” The confusion surrounding hemp CBD vs. marijuana CBD relates to the plant’s classification, name, and makeup. Basically, hemp plants will always contain more CBD, and marijuana plants contain more THC, a compound that causes the “high”. Now, if you really want to pack a "wellness PUNCH" then you would mix them both together. THC and CBD together make up something very special, you may have heard of it, it's called "Rick Simpson Oil" and is nothing more than the amazing combination of BOTH CBD from Hemp and THC from Marijuana.

Do you 3rd-party test your products?YES! Because all of our products are manufactured directly in FDA/DEA approved labs we can be assured everything is chemical-free and complies to all local, state and Federal laws governing Hemp, Delta 9 and THCa thresholds of no higher than <.3% TOTAL THC per dry weight. The Federal Guideline Formula to calculate this is: THCa x .877 + Total D9 THC. If that total is higher than <.3% then you are not in compliance and could very well go to jail if you are in a state where marijuana is illegal. All of our products undergo 3rd party testing in DEA-registered labs to ensure legality in all states.

Will I test positive on a drug test?YES, you absolutely can test positive so don't be irresponsible. Be well aware of the fact that you are ingesting something that may not be accepted by your employer. Before you make that decision, think hard about your life and the consequences if something goes wrong that you might regret.

How do I calculate my dosing?Dosing can be tricky, and it is always good "not to guess" as these products can and will have an effect on your motor-skills. Currently, there are no regulations governing the labeling and dosing requirements of hemp-derived products, so the landscape can be a tricky and sometimes dangerous slope. Our best guidance is to start very low in dose if you have never tried these cannabinoids before. For anyone "new" or with a "very low THC tolerance" then we would suggest a 10mg dose of anything, including straight CBD, then wait at least 2 hours to see how it may affect you. Everyone is different, so if it takes 2 hours to have an effect for your friend, it may only take 20 minutes to work on you. For higher tolerance, we would suggest starting at 30-40mg and follow the same rules as listed above. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT so research, research, research and always be careful and responsible.
